1. First Boot

When you first power on your Meta-OS device, you'll be greeted by Meta Assistant:

Meta Assistant: "Welcome to Meta-OS. I'm your AI assistant. How can I help you today?"

2. Basic Voice Commands

Meta-OS is designed for natural conversation. Try these examples:

📱 Making Calls
You: "Call Mom"
Meta-OS: "Calling Mom on mobile..."
💬 Sending Messages
You: "Text John I'll be there in 10 minutes"
Meta-OS: "Sent to John."
📅 Calendar Management
You: "What's on my calendar today?"
Meta-OS: "You have 3 events: Team standup at 9am, Lunch with Sarah at noon, Design review at 3pm."

3. Installing Your First Agent

Let's install a weather agent to check forecasts:

Step 1: Voice Discovery
You: "I want to check weather"
Meta-OS: "I can recommend the Weather Agent (2.1MB). It can check current conditions, forecasts, and severe weather alerts. Add it?"
Step 2: Review Permissions
Before installation, you'll see clear capability declarations:
This agent can:
✓ Access your current location
✓ Fetch weather data from external APIs
✓ Send you notifications for severe weather
Step 3: One-Tap Install
You: "Yes, add it"
Meta-OS: "Weather Agent installed. Try asking 'What's the weather today?'"

4. Multi-Agent Orchestration

The real power of Meta-OS is agent orchestration. Watch multiple agents work together:

You: "Book dinner near the theater after tonight's movie"
Meta-OS: "Let me help with that."
→ Calendar Agent: Movie starts at 7pm, ends ~9pm
→ Maps Agent: Theater is downtown on Main St
→ Restaurant Agent: Found 5 options nearby
"I recommend Bella Vista (Italian, 0.2mi from theater). Book for 9:30pm?"
You: "Perfect"
Meta-OS: "Reserved table for 2 at Bella Vista, 9:30pm. Added to your calendar."

5. Exploring the Agent Store

Browse available agents through conversation or the visual interface:

Voice Browse
You: "Show me productivity agents"
Meta-OS: "Found 12 productivity agents. Top rated: Notion Agent, Todoist Agent, Focus Timer..."
Visual Store
Tap the Agent Store icon to browse categories, see ratings, and read detailed capability descriptions.

6. Understanding System Status

The Meta-OS launcher gives you an at-a-glance system overview:

📱
Connectivity
Network, Bluetooth, sync status
🔋
Battery
Current level and AI usage
🤖
Active Agents
Which agents are running

7. Privacy & Data Control

Meta-OS keeps your data private by default:

  • On-device AI: Most processing happens locally, not in the cloud
  • Granular permissions: Grant specific capabilities, not broad access
  • Audit log: See exactly what each agent has accessed
  • Instant revocation: Remove agent access anytime with "Remove Weather Agent permissions"

Common First-Time Questions

Q: Do I need internet for Meta-OS to work?
A: Core features work offline. The on-device AI can handle calls, messages, calendar, and contacts without internet. Some agents (like weather, maps) require connectivity.
Q: Can I still use touch/tap interface?
A: Absolutely. Voice is the primary interface, but every feature is accessible via touch as well. Use whichever feels natural.
Q: How do I uninstall an agent?
A: Say "Remove [Agent Name]" or long-press the agent in the Agent Store and tap Remove.
